The Faculty Affairs Committee (FAC) considers a wide array of topics that affect tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-track faculty. Some of the issues are initiated by members of the Committee while others involve review of proposals by the University Administration. Most of the topics are first considered by subcommittees, whose charge and composition changes with the interests of the members. The Committee also administers the annual Faculty Senate Award for Excellence in Service to the Senate.
