What inspired your interest in psychology?
It is a goal of mine to obtain the skills and enter a career that allows me to help others individually and professionally. I hope to set foot towards the field of organizational psychology and am motivated to learn under the incredible instructors my university has to offer. I am a curious learner, ready to conquer any challenge, and eager to make friendships in the process. What has inspired me were the many encounters I've had with people of different backgrounds and working together in order to reach a common goal. Those experiences taught me the importance of learning about myself and others, which is why I would like a position that allows me to do so.

How did you hear about CSE?
The first time I heard about CSE was when I was awarded The Dream.US scholarship; their office collaborates with scholarship and assisted me with my transition to the University of Houston. I have never felt so lucky to meet kind people that were willing to help me. The biggest benefit has been learning about their abilities to guide and counsel you on paying for school, applying for scholarships, and even when you are having a tough time. Without hesitation, I would walk someone in need of their office because having people around you that want you to succeed is what every college student needs.
