The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration is an opportunity for the University of Houston community to celebrate and reflect on the legacy and life of civil rights leader Dr. King. We gather during this time to memorialize the work and accomplishments of one of the most prominent African American leaders in modern history.

During Weeks of Welcome, the Center for Student Advocacy and Community puts on free mixers for students to learn about our services, create relationships with one another, and find their community at the University of Houston!
