How to Use the Cupboard
Sign up for the Cougar Cupboard. Sign up is required prior to the first visit.
The Cougar Cupboard is located at the University Lofts. The address is 4200 Martin Luther King Blvd, Room R101. It can be found on the corner of the first floor.
Students can use the Cougar Cupboard ONCE per week and receive up to 30 lbs in that visit. Limits on individual items must be followed. Carts, suitcases, bags, etc can all be brought to aid in transporting the food received.
Hours Update
Due to current Houston Food Bank efforts going towards Hurricane Beryl disaster relief, the Cougar Cupboard will only be open on Fridays 9AM-1PM for the time being. We know this is not ideal and appreciate everyone’s patience as we wait for the disaster level to subside.

- Wednesdays | CLOSED
- Thursdays | CLOSED
- Fridays | 9AM-1PM

Parking
Parking in the fire lane in front of the Lofts is NOT ALLOWED. Parking in the fire lane may result in hefty fines.
If you have a valid UH parking permit and it is during relaxed parking times, you may park in the ungated lots near the space. Read more details on relaxed parking rules here: Relaxed Parking - University of Houston (uh.edu)
