Not all classrooms have four walls.

At the Valenti School of Communication, we offer a host of opportunities for students to travel abroad. Our faculty-led trips, which tend to be open to all University of Houston students, give students the chance to experience other cultures firsthand and study a communication-related topic in depth.  We also work to support opportunities for individual students to intern abroad, such as Nola Valente interning at The Media Line in the summer of 2018.

Regardless of the opportunity, we work to include a communication angle on every trip. To date, students have studied communication in Italy, Australia, Germany and many more places. Our global travel and learning opportunities often take place during the winter and summer semesters.
