Chereece N. Andrews is a Clinical Associate Professor and clinical audiologist for the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department. In that role she is the instructor for two undergraduate courses, and she also provides audiologic services at the University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic: a United Way agency. Her clinical areas of interest are pediatric audiology, and aural rehabilitation.

Academic Focus

With several years of clinical experience, Dr. Andrews believes it is important to bring real-world examples into the classroom. She is a proponent of hands-on learning experiences and embedded a service-learning project into the Aural Rehabilitation course with the support of the UH ACES Institute, and into the Introduction to Audiology course with Sight and Hearing for Sucess CITE grant. Health Care and Inter-Professional Education - University of Houston (uh.edu)  She also spearheaded the COMD department's first learning abroad experience.
