I was born in Colombia and grew up in New York City where I obtained a Bachelor's in Forensic Psychology. I have a Master's in Education from the University at Buffalo where I am completing my doctoral degree. My clinical experience has included community mental health, hospital, community college and university counseling settings. My areas of clinical interests consist of multiculturalism, intersectionality, marginalized communities, racial/cultural identity development, acculturation, social justice and advocacy. I aspire to practice as a bilingual therapist in order to serve Spanish-speaking individuals in underserved or marginalized communities.
