Construction management students at the University of Houston are building an elaborate piece of playground equipment to benefit children living in foster care.
The work is taking place on the UH campus, between the Technology Annex and the Central Plant. Andy Cordova, president of the UH Associated Builders and Contractors student chapter, said the student group was asked to build the playground equipment by the Montgomery County chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, which provides volunteer advocates for children in the foster care system.
