Dr. Kei-Mu Yi appointed to be a Research Associate at the NBER


Dr. Kei-Mu Yi, M.D. Anderson Professor of Economics at UH, has been appointed as of May 1, 2016 to be a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). The NBER is the nation's leading nonprofit economic research organization. The research activities of the NBER are organized into a series of twenty research programs and fifteen working groups. Dr. Yi will participate in two research programs, the International Trade and Investment program (ITI) and the International Finance and Macroeconomics program (IFM).  Dr. Yi joins a prestigious group of economists from around the nation to be named as a Research Associate of NBER.  Other faculty in the UH Department of Economics who hold an appointment as an NBER Research Associate include Dr. Aimee Chin, Dr. Chin-hui Juhn and Dr. Elaine Liu.
