Who We Are:

The First Year Team works collaboratively across the institution to provide new students with the academic and social resources needed to successfully transition to college life and progress towards degree completion.

What We do:

We are focused on student success during the first year and provide you with an added layer of support as you navigate academic, personal, and financial transitions at the institution. New students are further supported by Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs). Our PALs are upperclassmen student leaders who are available for individualized peer-to-peer coaching, connecting students with resources designed to ease the transition to UH.
