Hanover Research

The Division of Research has partnered with Hanover Research, a national research consulting firm, to expand support for faculty pursuing large, complex, and competitive funding opportunities. Hanover offers expert guidance in proposal development, sponsor analysis, and strategic planning.

Faculty can access support in four key areas: proposal review, proposal revision, funding opportunity searches, and strategic consult calls. These services are coordinated through the Office of the Vice President for Research. 

How to Get Started 

Faculty interested in Hanover support should email the VP for Research with a brief description of their project, funding target and deadline. VP Neuhauser will work with colleges to determine the best match for available services, and Hanover will follow up with selected faculty for a consultation.

A presentation introducing Hanover’s services was given to UH faculty during the January 2025 UH Research Forum. The recording and slide deck, which includes UH-specific access information, are available on SharePoint. 

Faculty also have access to Hanover’s online tools at hub.hanoverresearch.com, including grant alerts, funding calendars, webinars, and Hanover's Grants Learning Center.
