Foreign Travel

Travel to or from all countries outside the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. territories and possessions is considered as foreign travel.

Please see MAPP 04.02.01A and MAPP 04.02.01B for requirements. Below are some of the key requirements specifically highlighted for Foreign Travel

  1. A travel request under the traveler’s concur account that is fully submitted and approved before travel takes place.
  2. An agenda/program covering each day of travel, including any personal days.
  3. Guests and contractors require itemized receipts for all expenses.
  4. Post Trip Report is required from all travelers except for guests and contractors.
  5. All foreign travel and travel to Mexico and Canada require International Travel Export Control Form.
