Texas Tribune Presents Free Symposium on the Texas Economy April 29 at UH

Bauer College of Business Hosts Daylong Event

Houston SkylineThe Texas Tribune will host a free, open-to-the-public event — Symposium on the Texas Economy — from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at The University of Houston – Bauer College of Business.

Symposium discussion topics will include best practices in job creation, the fight over economic incentives, what’s next for tax reform and the inner workings of the Texas budget.

Each of the discussions will be followed by an audience Q&A session. A complimentary light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
