The University of Houston School of Art is pleased to announce Moving Forward, an exhibition of work made by artists and designers from the MFA Class of 2020.
The exhibition will be hosted by the Anya Tish Gallery and Gray Contemporary from July 3-July 17, 2021 with a reception on July 10th. For the reception both galleries will be open from 1-5PM, allowing ample time to visit each exhibition space in Houston’s lively arts districts.
The artists and designers of the Class of 2020 spent three intense years developing their work anticipating the Masters of Fine Arts thesis exhibition, only to have the exhibition cancelled due to the pandemic. Moving Forward is taking place a little more than a year after the original date for their exhibition; this July see the culmination of the 2020 cohort’s three-year journey at the University and the many works these artist and designers have created since emerging into Houston’s vibrant culture scene.
