Finding the Honors College

The Honors College is housed in the MD Anderson Library

Directions to Campus

from North of downtown Houston

• Take I‑45 South heading toward downtown.
• Take Exit 44B – State Route 5 S / Spur 5 South.
• Continue onto the Spur 5 frontage road.
• At the light, turn right onto University Drive.
• Continue straight past Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd 

from South of downtown Houston

• Take I‑45 North (Gulf Freeway) heading toward downtown.
• Take exit 44A — marked Elgin / Lockwood / Cullen.
• Stay left after exiting and turn left at the traffic light onto Elgin Blvd.
• Drive under the I‑45 overpass, then at the next light (Spur 5 frontage road), turn left onto Spur 5 (also labeled Alternate US‑90).
• Follow Spur 5 until the traffic light for University Drive, then turn right.
• Continue on University Drive, passing the light at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

Parking Information

Visitor parking is located in the Welcome Center North Garage, fourth-level roof level. This will be pay-by-phone only.
