Career Highlights:
Egor is a passionate hospitality professional with a robust academic and professional background. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Hotel Administration at the Conrad N. Hilton College, University of Houston, under the supervision of Dr. Minwoo Lee. Egor’s research interest aims to explore how technology can improve consumer experience in hospitality and create lasting effects for businesses. Specifically, he is interested in exploring the emerging concept of Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR). He will also share his extensive hotel and restaurant experience with students at GHL within courses he plans to teach.
Egor’s academic background began at Cornell University’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration where he majored in Hotel Administration and minored in Real Estate. From there, he continued his education by attaining a Master of Science at École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland where he studied and worked across three different cities (Lausanne, Hong Kong, and Houston) studying and observing the intricate differences between cultures when it comes to operations within the world of hospitality to create an exceptional guest experience.
Egor’s professional background includes several years in hotel and restaurant operations, holding positions in both management and non-management roles. Most recently, he served as a Food and Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in West Palm Beach, FL where he oversaw all aspects of day-to-day operations for five different F&B outlets. Additionally, he has worked at several other major brands and independent properties including The Brazilian Court in West Palm Beach, Florida, The Statler Hotel in Ithaca, New York, and Savoy in Moscow, Russia.
