The Division of Student Affairs is thrilled to announce the appointment of Khristian Royster as the new assistant director of the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life (CFSL) at the University of Houston (UH). In this role, Khristian will be instrumental in cultivating our fraternity and sorority community, fostering collaboration among student leaders, and enhancing the overall experience for our members.
Khristian holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas
at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Philander Smith University.
With over six years of experience in higher education, he brings extensive knowledge
in Fraternity and Sorority Life, as well as Residence Life and Housing. His previous
roles have equipped him with a deep understanding of student leadership development
and large fraternity and sorority community management. Notably, Khristian has served
on international committees within his organization and is well-versed in effective
advisor best practices. He is passionate about creating workshops focused on key topics
to help grow and develop fraternity and sorority leaders.
“I am ecstatic to join this team and contribute to the growth of our fraternity and
sorority community by uniting our students to leverage their collective strengths.
My goal is to ensure that the fraternity and sorority experience is one of pride and
excellence for every student. I am eager to build meaningful connections with students,
alumni, and headquarters staff to foster a unified approach and make our FSL community
stand out,” Khristian shared.
In his new position, Khristian will provide direct support to the Houston Panhellenic
Council and Interfraternity Council, oversee the Order of Omega honor society, and
supervise the graduate assistant for CFSL. His dedication to student development and
his passion for building dynamic and supportive communities are expected to significantly
enhance the fraternity and sorority experience at UH.

the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life.
