Financial Empowerment Series
Program Description
In partnership with C.T. Bauer College of Business and The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, the Financial Empowerment Series is designed to provide CSE students and the UH community with financial teaching, resources, and tools to be fiscally responsible and astute. The program will consist of a series of workshops that address the financial interest and educational needs of students. All students are encouraged to engage and participate in the financial empowerment series.
Expected Results:
- Provide a space for students to learn and engage in conversations about financial literacy and management skills which is linked to student success.
- Encourage students to think critically and make conscious decisions about repaying debt and taking on new debt
- Empower CSE students and the UH community to be fiscally responsible to make spending decisions that help them reach their goals
