UH Dining Meal Plan

UH Dining  Meal Plan offers a variety of meal plan options to fit all lifestyles. The two dining halls on campus, Moody Towers and Cougar Woods Dining Commons, offer buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner options to meet individual nutrition needs.

Off-Campus Resources

Houston Food Bank

The Houston Food Bank is our area’s largest food bank distributor, leading hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties. Taking a leadership role in addressing food insecurity, the Houston Food Bank offers several community assistance programs including Food for Change and the Senior Box Program, among others.

Kids’ Meals Houston

Kids' Meals Houston delivers free, healthy meals, year-round, Monday through Friday, to the homes of qualifying children age 5 or under who live within our 46 delivery zip codes. Assistance with budgeting, health care and more are also available.

Lasagna Love

Lasagna Love is a non-profit organization that prepares and delivers homemade lasagnas to individuals and families in need. Requests are made online and there’s typically a wait time of two-plus weeks for our area.

Meals on Wheels (Faculty/Staff)

Meals on Wheels provides meals to seniors 60 years and older (other qualifications may apply). There are many Houston locations, and home delivery is also an option.

United Way Houston

United Way Houston connects residents with a variety of services and resources. Whether you need help finding childcare, food stamps, care for an aging parent or a haven from domestic violence, call 211, the Texas/United Way HELPLINE.

West Houston Assistance Ministries

West Houston Assistance Ministries food pantry, a large Houston Food Bank partner, conducts regular food distributions to families in need. Other forms of assistance including childcare is available.
