Military and DoD Child Care Assistance

The men and women of our armed forces selflessly serve our country and their families are often challenged by the uncertainty of deployments and relocation. Child Care Aware® of America is dedicated to helping military families who need stability in child care to provide peace of mind.

The UH Children’s Learning Centers meets the requirements of a Preferred Provider and is approved to receive payments for any military family eligible for our Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) program. Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood is a reduced fee assistance program for active duty or deployed Service Members that are unable to obtain child care on a Military installation.

Our facility is listed on Child Care Aware® of America's Online Registry, under the University Of Houston CCC.

To learn more about the eligibility requirements, please visit the Military and DoD Child Care Assistance website.

All applicants must have a child enrolled at UHCLC.
