Chancellor Khator's Visit to Shasta's
UH President and Chancellor Dr. Renu Khator visited Shasta's Culinary Cafe for lunch on friday, March 30th 2009. Dr. Khator was accompanied by Dr Simon Bott (Research Associate Professor and Undergraduate Chairman - Department of Chemistry) and Ms. Karen Clarke (Associate Vice Chancellor and Associate Vice President for University Relations).
After lunch Shasta's Chef Ms Laura Moore gave Dr. Khator a tour of the kitchen. Below are some images from Dr. Khator's visit.
Shasta's Culinary Workshop is a student operated cafe on the UH campus. Shasta's is located in the Cameron Building and are open for lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11.30am to 1pm.
All meals are created by nutrition students from scratch with the highest standards and the best quality foods. The meals are designed to be healthy, appealing and representative of every type of cuisine.
Students prepare the meals in a state of the art kitchen under the watchful eye of nutrition faculty.
