Withdrawal and Refund

Each semester upon completion of online registration, a student will be charged one semester’s tuition and fees. The student will be responsible for the payment even though no classes have been taken.

Withdrawal Process

If you wish to stop attending the LCC, please follow the steps below to withdrawl from the LCC. Do not stop attending classes until you have completed the withdrawal process.

  1. Email your instructors and let them know that you plan to withdraw from the LCC. 
  2. Contact the LCC in person or via email at LCC@uh.edu. Request the Refund Authorization Form and return the signed form to the LCC.
  3. If you are an F-1 student, you must meet with the Director of Student Services about transferring out, departing the United States, and termination of the Student Health Insurance Plan. Do not stop attending classes until you have completed the withdrawal process. Otherwise, your F-1 status might be terminated.

Visit the Learn about Dates and Costs page for the refund schedule. The Office Supervisor will advise you about the process to receive a refund.
