CougarNet Account

Upon initial registration for the Language and Culture Center, LCC students receive a CougarNet account. With this account, students have access to various online services provided by the University of Houston.

Username and Password

You will receive two emails from University Information Technology:

1) one email containing your CougarNet username; and

2) the second email containing your CougarNet temporary password.

You should log into your CougarNet account at access.uh.edu to reset your password after you receive these two emails.

If you ever forget or need to change your password, visit access.uh.edu and click Change/Reset your CougarNet Password.

For further assistance with your password, please contact University Information Technology by phone, text, or online chat.

Online Services

In your CougarNet account (through AccessUH), you will have access to the following services:

  • myUH Self Service

This app allows LCC students to make payments, update contact information, and check UH admission status.

  • University Career Services

This app is used by employers to post jobs to which LCC students can apply. LCC students will be able to upload their resumes and cover letters in order to apply for jobs on campus.

  • myParking Account

This app allows LCC students to register for and purchase parking permits, modify wait list requests, and pay or appeal citations.

  • myHousing

This app allows LCC students to apply for housing, pay the application fee and deposit, and sign the housing agreement.

  • Get Involved

This app allows LCC students to search student organizations at the University of Houston.

  • Cougar Card and Meal Plan

This app allows LCC students to initially request their Cougar Card and upload their Cougar Card photo. It then allows students to view Cougar Card transactions and balances, and to report lost or stolen cards. Students may also add Cougar Cash to their Cougar Cards through this app. UH meal plans (mandatory when students live in certain UH dormitories) can be added here.

  • Office 365

This app allows LCC students to access the Office 365 suite of apps available to them.

Printing

LCC students can print in the M.D. Anderson Library. Each semester, LCC students will receive a $7.50 credit to print in UH Libraries. The credit can only be used for printing and copying. Printing credits do not roll over into the next semester. After all credits are used, additional printing is charged to your Cougar Card Flex accounts. The costs are listed below:

  • black-and-white printing: 1.5 cents/side
  • color printing: 10 cents/side
