Student Opportunities
Achievement Initiative for Marginalized Males
(AIMM) is a program designed to improve the recruitment and retention of African American and Hispanic males at the University of Houston. Participants receive academic support and character and leadership development through programs and workshops. Males in the program also participate in community engagement opportunities and receive mentoring by faculty, staff and peers.
REACH Diversity Peer Educators
The REACH Diversity Peer Educators (RDPEs), formerly known as CDI Student Ambassadors, are a part of CDI's new REACH initiative to advance cultural awareness across campus through peer education. REACH Diversity Peer Educators are a group of diverse student leaders who come together to promote the mission and vision of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion by supporting the Center’s programs, services, and initiatives.
Student Employees
Student Employees play a vital role in the success of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI). Our student employees learn valuable professional skills while serving the campus community, and assisting the CDI staff on day-to-day operations and special projects.
