The Diversity Education Consortium is a group of students, faculty, and staff committed to creating a more inclusive campus environment at the University of Houston. The Consortium will promote and provide educational programs and opportunities that focus on diversity, inclusion, and social justice for the campus community. The Consortium provides a supportive network, shares best practices and offers resources that increase understanding, knowledge, and skills about cultural differences.

The Diversity Education Consortium’s efforts will:

  • Help advance the university’s commitment to a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect
  • Uphold the sentiments expressed in the UH Diversity and Inclusion Statement and President Khator’s 2016 Fall Address.
  • Serve as a model of inclusive excellence for the campus community
