The University of Houston administers Certiport certification examinations through our Testing Center for UH students and non-UH students. Students who successfully complete the certification process will gain valuable and marketable skills. Let's get you certified today.

Get Certified

Certiport exams are available to UH students and the greater Houston community. UH students may register now, and the fee will be billed to your student account. Non-UH students may also still register now, and you will be prompted to pay by card.

  1. Click on the Register Now button.
  2. Select either Returning UTS-Online User to login or to create a new account, select New UTS-Online User .
  3. Select from the available Certiport exams and choose the date and time that works best for you once you have signed up.
  4. When you are finished, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this for your records.
  5. You will also need to create an account on Certiport.com prior to your scheduled exam date. Please have your login information ready on your scheduled exam date.

Certiport and its Authorized Testing Centers require advance notification of requests for accommodations as well as a reasonable amount of time to review the request. Accommodations may include extended testing time, a separate room, and a reader/or recorder. Accommodations can be requested online through the Reasonable Adjustments Request System (RARS).   • How long is a Certiport exam?

    - Most of these exams take about 50 minutes to complete.

  • Can I reschedule my exam?

    - Exams can be rescheduled within 90 days from the original test date.

  • What if I fail, may I retake the exam?

    - Yes, please contact us for further instructions.

  • Are these certification exams refundable?

    - These exams are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your exam, please reschedule within 90 days.

  • Is the exam in-person only?

    - Yes, currently all Certiport exams are administered in person at the University of Houston Testing Center.

  • What should I bring to my exam?

    - Please bring your valid ID and Certiport username and password on the day of the exam.

  • Where is the Testing Services and where do I park?

    - These exams are administered in person at the University of Houston Testing Services. For directions, please view the Testing Services on the map. You may park in the Welcome Center or Hilton Hotel parking garages. If you have any questions, please call us at 713-743-5444.
