A valid University of Houston parking permit is needed in order to park at the three on-campus residential apartment complexes.

Bayou Oaks

• To park in the gated area at Bayou Oaks, residents must purchase a Bayou Oaks parking permit through their myParking account in AccessUH. All other UH parking permits will not be valid in the gated area.
• Any vehicle parked in the gated areas of Bayou Oaks without a valid Bayou Oaks parking permit is subject to citation.
• The Bayou Oaks parking permit can be used to park in unrestricted and uncovered spaces in zones A, D, E and F at any time.
• The Bayou Oaks parking permit can be used to park in unrestricted and uncovered spaces in any zone parking lot on campus during relaxed parking hours, which is Monday-Thursday between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m., and any time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cullen Oaks

• To park in the gated area at Cullen Oaks, residents must purchase a Cullen Oaks parking permit through their myParking account in AccessUH. All other UH parking permits will not be valid in the gated area.
• Any vehicle parked in the gated areas of Cullen Oaks without a valid Cullen Oaks parking permit is subject to citation.
• The Cullen Oaks parking permit can be used to park in unrestricted and uncovered spaces in zones A, D, E and F at any time.
• The Cullen Oaks parking permit can be used to park in unrestricted and uncovered spaces in any zone parking lot on campus during relaxed parking hours, which is Monday-Thursday between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m., and any time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  
• Residents of Cullen Oaks who are not UH students still need a UH Cullen Oaks parking permit. If they have a parking permit already issued by the school they attend, the UH permit will be at no cost. These students should email copies of the front and back of their valid school parking permit to parking@uh.edu. Parking and Transportation Services will verify it first before emailing a link to obtain the UH permit. Please note: the permit is virtual, so no plastic hangtag will be issued.
