A Jewish festival, also known as the Festival of Lights, that commemorates the recovery of Jerusalem. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days by lighting the candles of a candelabrum, also known as a menorah or hanukkiah, with nine branches.

Budgeting: A Financial Literacy Workshop

Join us as financial coach Karen Feliz teaches us how to establish good financial habits, including creating a budget and utilizing various budgeting apps as well as old-fashioned tools for budgeting. Ms. Feliz will also cover a step-by-step process of getting and staying out of debt by getting rid of debt from credit cards, student loans, car loans, personal loans, and more! No registration required.

Want to take a quick trip around the world? Come visit the seven continents with us during our After-School Break Program! Students will learn more about each continent through special craft projects and activities like making a paper fan and dot painting. This program is for students in K-5 grades. A week-long annual celebration of African-American culture that is based on harvest festival traditions from various parts of Africa. Traditions include celebration of seven principles of African Heritage and a communal feast, called Karamu, on the sixth day of observance.
