- With the increased use of smart phones, especially among students, the University of Houston has an opportunity to increase availability of our online services to these platforms. We will use this source of communication to serve all six University goals: national competitiveness, student success, community advancement, athletic competitiveness, national and local recognition and resource competitiveness.
- MyUH Messaging
- Deploy an alerts and passive messaging solution to provide students with notifications of important account changes, deadlines, and other essential bulletins. Passive messaging requires no effort on the part of the student to retrieve the message; alerts and other important information will be easily communicated to them on the system they use most often.
- The project will deploy an alerts and passive messaging system to communicate with students about their academic and financial status, as well as general and urgent notifications from UIT and Enrollment Services.
