Affiliated Groups and Programs
Our department offers a variety of opportunities for research in areas within and closely related to philosophy. Groups and programs in which various faculty members participate, and which may be of interest to prospective students, include:
LATAM Bridges in The Epistemology of Religion consists of a series of activities that will create bridges between Latin American and North American philosophers working in the epistemology of religion.Phronesis: A Program in Politics and Ethics, an interdisciplinary minor housed in the UH Honors College, and involving faculty in Philosophy, Classical Studies and Political Science.
The Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Program, which allows graduate students to pursue a graduate certificate in Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies.
