Applying to graduate study to the University of Houston is the first step to your rewarding future.
First, be sure to check our deadlines and testing requirements. You'll also want to check with your specific department for additional admissions information. Here is a list of the major documents that every applicant will need:
- The application. You may apply online using the Apply Texas Application.
- The application fee (if required). Fees vary by department, so contact your academic program for specific information.
- Two college transcripts. Official transcripts must reflect at least the last 60 semester credit hours of course work or the equivalent. Evidence of award of degree, if applicable, must be reflected as well. When possible, transcripts should be sent electronically.
- Your test scores. Check here to see which standardized tests you'll need to take.
