toured Sonoma Valley in 1997 while attending a conference in San
Francisco. Who says graduate school doesn't have its perks? During
our tour, we stumbled across Ferrari-Carano
Vineyards and Winery which is located farther down Dry Creek Road than some
of the other, more accessible, wineries. We've been loyal customers ever

The Ferrari-Carano Fumé Blanc is made in the style of a Pouilly-Fumé from
the Loire Valley of France, according to Ferrari-Carano. It is a delicate,
crisp, fruity white wine with a pleasant acidity and the characteristic grassy
note that tells you right away it’s made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
