Denim Day
Wednesday, April 30, 2025
12:00 am - 12:00 am
Denim Day is an annual event where people wear denim to raise awareness about sexual violence and stand in solidarity with survivors. It originated as a protest against victim-blaming after a court ruled that a rape victim’s tight jeans implied consent.
Show your support for survivors by posting a pic of your denim and tag @uhwgrc. 3 winners will be selected for our Denim Day Giveaway!
Need support for an experience of sexual violence or know someone who does? Our confidential Sexual Misconduct Support Services team is here for you. Reach us at smss@uh.edu.
