UH-MIND Awarded a Seed Funding Grant from the Division of Research
UH-MIND, with Dr. Jokūbas Žiburkus as lead PI, was awarded seed funding from the Division of Research that will be used to support the mission of UH-MIND: to serve as a creative and innovative hub to find causes and cures for dementia and neurological disorders. The requested funding will support organization of an interactive symposium/workshop entitled “Dementia Unlocked: Collaborative Solutions for Brain Health” on the UH campus and a series of invited seminars by preeminent researchers in fields relevant to dementia research. The symposium and seminar series will foster the exchange of ideas, promote team formation, stimulate collaborations, and facilitate the development of competitive funding proposals.
