Student-Produced 'Undergrad the Musical' Explores Campus Life April 23

When friends Damian and Dru enter college, their lives take drastically different turns. For Damian, it's a turn for the worse as he adopts some bad habits that may lead to an unproductive start to his university experience.

Audiences will find out whether Dru can help Damian get back on the right track in "Undergrad the Musical," a new student-produced play that debuts at 6:30 p.m., April 23 in the University of Houston's Cullen Performance Hall. Admission for this play is free.

Presented by UH's Urban Experience Program, "Undergrad the Musical" will offer an energetic, funny and inspirational look at the college experience. To learn more about this play or RSVP for the performance, call 713-743-6032.

As part of UH's Learning and Assessment Services department, the Urban Experience Program complements the university's mission by promoting upward mobility through higher education. Through community and corporate partnerships, the program focuses on enhancing the academic experience of student participants and preparing them for the professional world.
