Established in 2018, the Arts & Technology Center (ATC) at the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts provides cutting-edge resources for students, faculty and staff. By forming an interdisciplinary work space where artists from various disciplines can create alongside one another, the ATC fosters an environment that supports artistic risk-taking, creative exploration and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The technology available supports artistic research in such areas as virtual exhibition, curatorial applications and defining new limits of printmaking.
The ATC, located on the third floor of the Fine Arts Building, offers a computer lab equipped with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and other professional-grade software, large-format printers, 3D printers, laser and vinyl cutters, binding materials and more. Monitors are available to provide hands-on support and guidance with all resources in the lab. These amenities are fundamental to coursework throughout the college, as well as essential to developing independent artistic practices.
