Computer Resources Support Standards
The following computing resources are managed through the IT Support Center (ITSC).
- Computer Accounts on IT-Managed Enterprise Systems
- Computer Account Creation, online and in person
- Password Resets
- Name Changes
- Disk Quota Management
- Account Termination
- Email Aliases
- Email Alias Creation
- Name Changes
- IP Addresses
- Printer Queue Creation - ADMIN and SPOOLER
The university's computing resources are for the use of UH faculty, staff, and students enrolled in classes at UH. ITSC does not support the uses of computing resources that do not contribute to the academic, research, or administrative work of the university.
Response Times
All estimates are based on ITSC's regular hours, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week (except for university holidays). After hours, you can send email to support@uh.edu.

Areas Not Supported
Items not specifically covered in the Computing Resources Support Standards are not supported by the IT Support Center. ITSC does not support the uses of computing resources that do not contribute to the academic, research, or administrative work of the university. Some computer systems and other resources are managed by groups outside of IT. For support on one of those systems, contact that system's administrator.
