The Division of Student Affairs - Supporting You!

The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) is comprised of 23 departments and supports the University’s mission by providing a comprehensive array of services, programs, and activities that enhance the learning environment and development of our Coogs. We have five major functions to help each of you (1) Stay Healthy, (2) Get Involved, (3) Get Support, (4) Live on Campus, and (5) To be Empowered.

One of our valuable resources is the CoogsCare website, a hub for students that offers a variety of resources and training that support the mental health and emotional well-being of our faculty, staff, and students. CoogsCare has resources for students, staff, and faculty.

Additionally, the Division of Student Affairs operates the Cougar Cupboard, a remarkable initiative that addresses food insecurity among students. This pantry offers groceries and essential items to those in need, easing the financial burden on students and promoting their well-being.

Furthermore, the University Career Services department plays a crucial role in helping students and alumni forge connections with prospective employers. They offer career counseling, job fairs, resume workshops, and interview preparation, empowering students to take confident strides toward their future careers. The University of Houston's Division of Student Affairs is dedicated to nurturing holistic student success through a range of essential services.
