On October 1, 2024, University Information Technology will upgrade Cisco AnyConnect VPN client to Cisco Secure Client.

What to expect
When you launch Cisco AnyConnect VPN client after October 1, the software will automatically begin updating and be renamed to  Cisco Secure Client. Once the update is complete, you might be prompted to restart your device to complete the installation, otherwise, the software can be used as normal. No further action is required after the upgrade. If the automatic update does not work, please visit vpn.uh.edu to download the latest VPN software.
