UT NOC has been contacted and will open a trouble ticket with AT&T to investigate the circuit.

The estimated time to repair is unknown.

AT&T reports trouble is on customer provided equipment.

Local staff has requested a UIT technician to visit UH Austin Offices after 8:00 AM on Monday, March 5.

Austin office personnel and the buildings Plant Operations discovered network cabling in the buildings mechanical closet had been affected by the rooms door. A crimped CAT5 cable too short for adequately reaching uplink equipment was moved restoring service. Executive Support will be visiting the Austin Office for unrelated business and while there make improvements to the cabling infrastructure. Additional assessments regarding the Austin office network will take place at that time.
