Cougar Village

Cougar Village is the newest freshman on-campus community that is fully loaded with high tech services provided by University Information Technology.

Room Features

Each room has access to premier technology turning freshmen residents new home into a tech-haven, including:

Internet Access

Access to both wired and wireless internet options, so residents can use their computer, personal printer, gaming devices and more through the UH network.

Television

Cougar Village is the first on-campus community to provide Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) to a laptop or desktop! This enables residents to watch their favorite shows on their computer, without the need of a television set. If you still plan on bringing your television, UIT offers set-top cable box rentals for $10 per month + applicable sales tax.

Voice

UIT encourages residents to bring their cell phone or rent a landline university phone for only $21 per month. Residents may also take advantage of the many IP-based voice services like Skype or Magic Jack.

Each Floor

Every floor has lounges with large screen TVs, comfortable seating areas and tables, and Wi-Fi for residents to enjoy.
