First of all, I want to say thank you all. It would be impossible to do all of this without an ocean of help from these people and groups who share our vision: Dr. Donaji Stelzig (Dona), Cindy Paz, Giovanna Castro, Gonzalo Murillo, Keciana Enaohwo, Cara Shockler, Danea Williams, Community Family Centers, Riverside United Methodist Church, UH Honors College, College of Medicine and The Texas Institute for Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics.

I also want to say that all of you should be proud, and that I am very proud, of all the work you have done to reach graduation day.
The University of Houston Health Promoter Initiative is an initiative, a first step towards a network of health promoters working together in new ways while protecting the oldest and most important terrain of being human together. Take care of each other and advocate for each other.
The network will support community-based health work as a new site to transform the way health care is experienced.

More dignity, more strength, more creativity and more meaning at work.
We will work together to research better ways to educate the community about health risks and behaviors, from cancer to maternal health and early childhood development.
But above all, I am proud to be a part of everything they are doing.
All the projects I have seen show the creativity and intelligence necessary to change the world that already lies in your hands.
Congratulations to all, thank you for being part of our world, and best of luck with everything.
