As you navigate your student experience at the University of Houston, it’s important to stay on top of your finances. From budgeting and banking basics, to understanding credit scores and student loan repayment, learning about personal finance can assist you in making the best decisions for your finances and your future.

Although it can be overwhelming to dive into learning more about financial literacy and how it relates to you, that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. That’s why we’ve partnered with Our Money Matters to provide the financial education platform iGrad—free of use to the entire campus community.

The platform empowers and supports participants to gain personal finance knowledge and build positive money habits through access to personalized educational material based on individual money personalities. Topics and resources available include:

  • Budgeting
  • Types of financial aid
  • Building and understanding credit
  • Smart saving
  • Career related finance
  • Scholarship search
  • Resume review
  • Student loan tracking
  • Monthly $1000 money skill challenge giveaway
  • And plenty more
