Video conferencing for Instructors
This is an hour-long, hands-on session to give you some practice using Skype For Business and Google Meet. Each session will cover how to:
- join a meeting
- schedule a meeting
- start and control a meeting
- manage participants
- use chat
- share your screen
- record a meeting
After the workshop, you will be able to:
- Comfortably use Skype for Business and/or Google Meet for web conferencing, live class sessions, or meetings.
Technical requirements for this workshop:
Attendees must bring a laptop running at least Windows 10 or macOS 10.11. You’ll need to have full administrator rights (or at least the ability to install software and join an enterprise wireless network). Skype for Business and Google Meet require a standard laptop camera or USB 2.0 video camera, a microphone, and an audio output device in order to utilize its full range of calling and meeting features.
