9:00 am - 10:00 am
Facilitator: Laura Gutierrez, Associate Director, Research Integrity & Oversight
Do you have questions about the Conflict of Interest (COI) in Research process, such as who must certify, what needs to be disclosed, how often it occurs, the roles of Departmental and COI committee reviews, or how conflicts are managed, reported, and monitored? Would you find tips on navigating the ICON for COI system helpful, or are you curious about how COI in Research differs from the UH System SAMs for COI and Conflicts of Commitment? If so, please join us for a special session designed to provide clarity and answer your questions. This 50-in-5 session is part of the Division of Research’s “University Research Explained” series, created to support faculty in various research and innovation efforts. It is held in partnership with the Office of Faculty Engagement and Development.
The FED values accessibility and engagement for all events. If you are a faculty with a disability and are experiencing a barrier/access-related issue, please contact the FED at fed@uh.edu 7 days in advance so we can work with you to support your needs.
