Hot & Cold Temperature Control

Guidelines have been developed to help aid in the management and expectations of temperature controls for residential buildings, office and classroom spaces. This includes both occupied and unoccupied spaces.

These standards are used by the AHSRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). They identify the thermal comfort zone where 80% or more of occupants are comfortable.

If temperatures are outside of the range explained in the guidelines, please inform your building coordinator or contact FIXIT to report the situation.
