Description
The STEM and Classroom Building is a $65.7 million project for the University of Houston-Clear Lake. The 127,000 gross square foot building (including 15,000 gsf of shell space) will house classrooms as well as teaching and research labs for the departments of mechanical engineering, physical sciences, and environmental science/industrial hygiene. Additionally, this project includes the construction of the Bayou Loop Road connector. The Bayou Loop Road connector will connect Bayou Road East with Bayou Road West along the northern boundary of the campus. The road is anticipated to utilize the northernmost driving lane of Lot D, be a total length of approximately 1,500 feet of 2-lane road, and be constructed with a curb and gutter
system.
