Improving Interest in Computer Science

What is the study about?

Dr. Allison Master at the Identity & Academic Motivation Lab at the University of Houston is looking to recruit middle schools to participate in a project. This study aims to increase enrollment in elective computer science courses.

Why Participate?

  • Students will receive a $10 gift card for participating in an online survey.
  • Teachers will receive a $50 gift card.
  • Participating schools will receive a $500 gift card.

Who Can Participate?

  • Middle School Students (6th – 8th grade students)
