Cougar Involvement Ambassadors maintain the Commons area which includes the Carrel Spaces, the Resource Room, and the Commons Desk. To learn more about the resources offered check them out below.

Resource Room

The resource room holds a variety of different items for student organizations to check out! Need to make a banner? Want to design a flyer? We’ve got you covered.

To check out items in the Resource Room, you just need to go to the Commons Desk and let the Cougar Involvement Ambassadors know what you need.

Please note: You will have to leave a form of collateral (DL, Keys, or ID Card)

Student Organizations have the opportunity to have a mailbox at the Commons Desk. If you would like a mailbox, just specify in your organization registration that you would like to have a mailbox, or you can contact us at and we will help you get a mailbox for your organization.

Mail must be checked at least once a week, or it may be returned to sender if the box becomes too full.


Student Organizations can have both their mail and packages sent to the Commons Desk. If you would like your package sent to the Commons Desk, use the address on the bottom of your memorandum with your organizations name when shipping. If you receive a package at the Commons Desk, we will notify you through email.

Carrel Spaces

The Carrel spaces have 106 spaces that are available for Student Organization use. Organizations apply for a carrel space during organization registration in April. If you have any questions about the carrel spaces, please contact the Cougar Involvement Ambassadors at
