Who are the Involvement Ambassadors?
The Cougar Involvement Ambassadors serve as student representatives of the Center for Student Involvement. CIA is dedicated to serving as a resource to all students looking for opportunities to get involved as well as supporting all registered student organizations on campus. Our ambassadors are selected and trained to provide support, consultations, and resources to the University of Houston community.

Services for Registered Student Organizations

Resource Room
The resource room holds a variety of items for student organizations to check out! Need to make a banner? Want to design a flyer? We’ve got you covered. To check out items in the Resource Room, you just need to go to the Commons Desk and let the Cougar Involvement Ambassadors know what you need.

Mailboxes
Student Organizations can have a mailbox at the Commons Desk. If you would like a mailbox, just specify in your organization registration that you would like to have a mailbox, or you can contact us at cia@uh.edu and we will help you get a mailbox for your organization.

Carrel Spaces
The Carrel spaces have 106 spaces that are available for Student Organization use. Organizations apply for a carrel space during organization registration in April.
Work for CSI
CIA is dedicated to serving as a resource for students that are looking for opportunities to get involved as well as supporting all registered student organizations on campus. Our ambassadors offer one-on-one consultations to students looking to get involved in an organization, group consultations to students looking to start a new organization, and leadership workshops for established organizations, promote programs and events that are sponsored by The Center for Student Involvement.
